　　EGC Construction is looking for both experienced professionals and individuals who are looking to begin their construction career to join our team!

　　EGC employs more than 120 skilled craft workers that focus on safety, quality and customer satisfaction. We offer general, commercial and industrial construction including electrical work, millwrights, pipe fitters and structural steel detailers.

　　Headquartered in Newport, Kentucky and have been servicing local, regional, and international clients since 1978. EGC is committed to safety and the continuous improvement of our safety systems. We have received national safety awards as a result of our performance.

　　We are currently seeking electricians in the Industrial field.

　　Experience may include but is not limited to:

　　Read and interpret single line diagrams, elementary drawings and P&ID's

　　Installation of raceways: Cable tray, Wire way and Rigid conduit

　　Instrumentation and Control wiring and/or tubing.

　　C1D1 and intrinsically safe wiring methods.

　　Perform planned maintenance, inspection and installation on process and production equipment.

　　Follow job site safety and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work area. Identify safety hazards and protect self and others.

　　Qualifications:

　　High school diploma or equivalent.

　　Candidates must have transportation and good communication skills.

　　OSHA 10 Certified

　　Be willing to work within a 50-mile radius. Willingness to travel to other states for work is a plus!

　　Be able to work in a variety of seasonal and weather conditions.

　　Abilities:

　　Possess all auditory, speaking and communicating capabilities.

　　Physical requirements: standing, walking, bending, twisting, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50lbs., seeing and reading.

　　EGC is a merit shop contractor supporting a Team working environment. All Team members will be required from time to time to perform other duties they are qualified to perform, outside of this job description and their normal work function.
