  This role is located in Greeley, CO and reports to the Fixed Equipment and Pipeline Integrity Team Lead. This role is responsible for the management and associated field execution of a portion of the fixed equipment and pipeline integrity program for Rockies Business Unit (RBU) assets which includes pressure vessels, tanks, process piping, pressure relief devices, and pipelines (across all RBU upstream, PSM facilities, and pipeline infrastructure). This role works closely with the others on the Surface Assurance team, Maintenance, Operations, and Facilities Engineering organizations to implement the fixed equipment & pipeline integrity inspection campaigns.

  Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  Provide integrity management for fixed equipment and/or pipelines across the RBU. This includes risk assessment, inspection planning, asset strategies, field inspection coordination, remaining life assessment, threat & deficiency management, and repair/replacement recommendations.

  Ensure fixed equipment & pipeline integrity compliance with all regulations (such as OSHA PSM, PHMSA, COGCC, etc.)

  Manage all fixed equipment & pipeline integrity due dates via system of record to ensure inspection, testing, and replacement due dates are met. Responsible for creating short & long range business plans for integrity inspections to ensure ongoing compliance and risk management.

  Conduct remaining life, fitness for service (FFS) evaluations, derating, and repair plans, and engage technical SME’s where necessary to drive business decisions

  Manage Integrity Threat Resolution processes. Communicate remaining life and replacement and repair strategies to stakeholders to improve integrity at the optimum cost.

  Provide direction/management to contractors and business partners supporting the integrity programs

  Work with peers across Facility Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance to help improve and standardize mechanical integrity processes

  Develop and report RBU integrity program level KPIs. Perform data analysis on integrity data and create Business Intelligence charts/graphs to aid data-driven decisions.

  The RBU Surface Assurance program is continuing to grow/mature, and the job responsibilities will adjust to meet the program needs.

  Required Qualifications:

  Bachelor of Science Degree in an engineering discipline required

  Experience with vessel and/or pipeline integrity assessments and repairs

  Working knowledge of applicable vessel and/or pipeline codes and standards (API 510, API 570, API 653, ASME SEC VIII, PHMSA, COGCC, etc…)

  Significant field and operations knowledge/experience in production, facilities, and pipeline operations required

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Candidate must be boots-on-the-ground type engineer, willing to accept challenges and willing to travel to job sites to support integrity related events

  Working knowledge of API 579 Fit-For-Service and skilled at performing fitness for service (FFS) Level 1 evaluations

  Relocation Options:

  The anticipated salary range for this position is $112,200-$221,900. The selected candidate’s compensation will be determined based on their skills, experience, and qualifications.
