Laboratory management, supervisory, and organizational skills are essential. In this role, personnel will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing a variety of non-routine, technical research procedures within the scope of a research project; additionally, this role is to independently select and modify methods to be used.This successful candidate will be able to resolve most problems which arise and apprise supervisor/PI of progress of experiments. It will be necessary to sufficiently critically analyze experimental results and assist in the interpretation of data. Job duties may include assistance in writing research papers and training lower level technicians.
