Overview
The Account Representative II, supporting the Emerging Markets, is the primary liaison to the Independent Dealers from an overall relationship perspective as well as customer’s credit application submission and processing activities. The position is responsible to provide extraordinary training & customer service to Independent Dealers and Customers while working within a team environment.
Emerging Market equipment types include: Healthcare, Professional Cameras, Large Format Printers, Security and other equipment types Canon manufactures.
This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Tuesdays and Wednesdays with an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.
Responsibilities
Place outbound sales calls to Independent Dealers within assigned territory to understand their leasing behavior and persuade them to use Canon’s services; 15-30 calls daily
Solicit new CFS leasing relationships in the Independent Dealer channel and to grow market share within assigned territory.
Provide best in class service throughout the entire lease origination process with external dealers and customers as well as internal Canon departments
Educate Dealers to understand and use Canon Financial Services leasing programs
Develop relationships with Canon Division counterparts (Territory Account Managers, Account Representatives, Administrators, etc.)
Deliver webinars, sales talks and presentations as required
Communicate CFS leasing process to dealers and end user customers
Work closely with management to assist with the development, implementation and tracking of marketing campaigns and promotions within Emerging Markets
On board new dealer relationships within assigned territories
Facilitate CFS lease origination process from start to finish, including updates from dealers and end-user customers on all transactions, coordination with support areas
Update core systems based on business activity, SalesForce.com, etc.
Participate/ attend Trade shows, Dealer meetings, Company presentations, etc.
Qualifications
Bacehlor's degree and/or strong relationship management skills in the leasing industry
Team player with high energy, positive outlook and professional demeanor who takes initiative
Basic comprehension of Programs utilized in leasing industry - Odessa Leasewave, Salesforce
Basic comprehension of Credit concepts
Strong math aptitude
Strong communication and presentation skills – both written and verbal
Strong computer skills (Excel, Salesforce, similar)
Travel with management or senior associate as required – Up to 10% travel required
Sales experience required
