Requirements engineering for Connected Car OEM initiatives on both LTE and 5g. The OEMs include Honda, Mazda, Nissan, Ford and Stellantis. This new vehicle model year work will enhance existing LTE solutions and implement new 5g solutions.
Role Responsibilities:
As a Requirements Engineer, you will play a crucial role in initiating and shaping the success of projects within our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to create a comprehensive project requirements package, setting the stage for the design phase and ensuring that all stakeholders are on the same page. You will facilitate sessions with project stakeholders to gather their needs, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages open communication.In your role, you will compile the gathered information into a unified requirements document, which will include a project overview and detailed requirements. This document will provide a comprehensive understanding of the project''s scope and objectives, enabling the team to effectively plan and execute the project.
To further clarify the desired functionality, you will create use case diagrams that visually represent the different scenarios and interactions within the project. These diagrams will help stakeholders understand the nuances of the project and facilitate more effective decision-making.
As a Requirements Engineer, you will also conduct review sessions with stakeholders to ensure that all requirements and use cases are accurate and complete. This collaborative process will help identify any gaps or misunderstandings, allowing for adjustments as needed.
