The Repair Diagnostic Specialist role will focus on Repair Diagnostics. This will play a key role within the engineering and quality teams on reviewing hearing aid returns and performing various analysis and diagnostics to help gain understanding on why devices are coming in for repair. Additionally, this role will provide training to other diagnose techs on findings and help develop product diagnostic trees. The Diagnostic Specialist will also build out critical returns information to drive improvement into our repair system and design quality and repair requirements.

Perform failure analysis and troubleshooting on hearing aid devices and record issues into our current ABCD code failure analysis format.
Troubleshoot and repair failures; diagnose the root cause and recommend corrective action.
Help structure and assist on diagnostic tree development for broader support
Support cross-training efforts for current techs and assist in training new techs, as needed.
Help create and maintain records for issues and failures faced as part of repair analysis.
Gather and analyze data to identify trends associated with device failures.
Report data to cross functional teams and use trends to drive priorities.
Design experiments to pinpoint root causes for device failures.
Learn and be proficient on GN test systems.

Hearing or medical device experience preferred. Understanding and ability to work with of data analysis.
Travel: Limited travel as needed by project. 0-1 weeks annually.
