Through direct customer contact the Project Coordinator is accountable and responsible for managing assigned projects from initial customer requests through completion.Location: Remote, can live anywhere in the United StatesTravel Required: up to 25%Principle Duties and ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and organize activities surrounding the project cycleMonitor each project from order entry to completionEnsure that identified issues are reacted to in a timely mannerPartner with all functions, especially production, to organize and support critical aspects to meet customer delivery datesSupport the Project Management team through, Capturing/Interpreting/Inputting/Maintaining Sales Orders; Input/Participation at production meetings; Maintaining/Updating all project information through ERP system; Ship Schedules; Project/Product expediting; Monitoring/Maintaining critical project/program timelines; and Coordinating shipments and deliveriesManagement of: order entry data, manufacturing and shipping documentationDevelop competencies and technical skills focusing on design, detail, quality and engineering of our productsMaintain and manage individual project schedules through: assistance in coordinating manufacturing, shipping, and installationProvide shipping instructions as required, including customer shipping specificationsProvide customer service, sales support and backup to Project Management Complete individual store quantity take offs (multi store roll out programs)Maintain and update running inventory reports for team and customer and distribute as requiredDevelop cost proposals for final review by project teamUpload and organize various field reports and other information on internal or external web based sitesAssist in managing finished goods inventory related to assigned customer(s)Qualifications2+ years working in an administrative/project coordination capacity, preferably in the consumer environments industry.Must have a proven ability to create and maintain spreadsheets utilizing MS Office Programs such as Work and ExcelAn understanding of ERP fundamentals is preferred.Experience in wood and/or metal manufacturing is an asset.
