Overview

　　GovCIO is currently hiring for a Mobile Application Developer to create and maintain native iOS and Android applications, as well as web and various other applications and services. This position will be a fully remote position.

　　Responsibilities

　　Builds and codes applications and/or modules using languages such as C#, Swift, JavaScript, JAVA, XTML, etc. Provides patches and upgrades to existing systems. Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards. May design graphical user interface (GUI) to meet the specific needs of users. Prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. May build add-on modules using application program language.

　　Designs and codes applications following specifications using the appropriate tools

　　Maintains and modifies existing software applications.

　　Analyzes detailed systems factors, including input and output requirements, information flow, hardware and software requirements, and alternative methods of problem resolution.

　　Performs modifications to and maintenance of operational programs and procedures.

　　Participates in code reviews to represent reviewed work for adherence to standards and specifications.

　　Writes or revises program documentation, operations documentation and user guides in accordance with standards.

　　Qualifications

　　Bachelor's with 5 - 8 years (or commensurate experience)

　　5+ years of experience with C# .NET and WPF (XAML)

　　Proven Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, ASP.NET MVC)

　　Understanding of Model-View-View-Model (MVVM) and Model-View-Controller (MVC) design patterns

　　Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and how to develop and consume services (SOAP, REST, RPC) (at least 3 years experience)

　　Experience with the .NET technology stack (at least 3 years experience)

　　Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (at least 3 years of hands on experience)

　　Understanding of Agile methodologies

　　Experience with AWS

　　High attention to quality and details

　　Excellent verbal and written communication skills

　　Self-organized

　　Problem solving and trouble shooting skills

　　Able to work well in a collaborative and team setting

　　Experience with developing mobile applications using Xamarin

　　Posted Pay Range

　　The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
