We?re searching for an Assistant Program Director to joinone of our Youth Programs in the Springfield, MA area. The AssistantProgram Director is a member of the leadership team and will assumeoverall responsibility for the program in the absence of the ProgramDirector. The Assistant Program Director will also maintain atherapeutic environment within the residence, this includes meeting theneeds of the client in the following areas: safety, medical, emotional,food, clothing, and shelter. They will also promote staff developmentand assist Program Director on Daily tasks. Duties and Responsibilities:To supervise Direct Care/Relief Workers in those areas and providesupport and training as needed. Maintain a consistent manner inimplementing reasonable limits and structure for each client on a dailybasis in the residence and in the community. Maintain contact withfamilies and collaterals as needed. To assure that applicable rules,policies and procedures are being followed on their shifts. To adhere toall the expectations of a shift Supervisor. To provide leadership toshift Supervisors To implement each client?s individual Level Planobjectives under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor and ProgramSupervisor. To accurately log all required documentation. To act as aclient advocate. To provide appropriate, safe responses to emergencysituations when necessary. To develop strong, supportive relationshipswith the clients. To provide for client care and safety, and observe allsafety measures. To perform other duties as assigned by the ProgramDirector or Clinical Director Travel required to two sites MinimumQualifications: Those with Bachelor\'s Degree in Human Services, SocialWork, Psychology encouraged to apply. At least two years\' experience inHuman Services preferred Exceptional demonstrated writing andorganizational skills; Exceptional demonstrated interpersonal skillsMust have valid driver\'s license and a vehicle to transport clients orperform other supportive services as necessary.
