Studio Labs LLC in New York , NY is seeking a Release Train Engineer to facilitate communication across cross collaborative teams for releases.Job responsibilities and duties include:• Manage delivery of applicable programs and projects from development ready to deploy;• Ensure prioritization of JIRA Tickets, both groomed and development ready;• Check assigned technical deliverables and stories for completeness;• Provide and manage resourcing and planning workload including sprint planning, release planning, capacity planning, velocity tracking, and estimations;• Write and run queries to get data and answers quickly, such as SQL query;• Interface, collaborate, and own communication between varied stakeholders, team members, and business stakeholders;• Coordinate quality assurance (QA) testing, and help to evolve StudioLabs’ QA process;• Participate in daily standup meetings with the full team, as well as bi-weekly resource planning meetings with the production team, to ensure that all projects are properly staffed;• Help train other team members when/if the need arises;• Meet with other team members to discuss ideas, best practices, and process improvement;• Support the leadership team in assessing, defining, and rolling out workflow and process improvements.This position does NOT oversee other company personnel.Minimum Requirements:Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or any related IT or Engineering field plus at least two (2) years of experience in the job offered or inany related position(s) in which the requisite experience was gained.Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following:1. JIRA, AHA, Balsamiq, AdobeXD, and Figma.2. Managing technical project delivery from development ready to deploy.3. Sprint planning, release planning, capacity planning, velocity tracking, product roadmap creation and adherence management , and work estimations.4. Writing and running queries, including SQL query.No travel.
