*Qualifications and requirements

Applicants should have a current state RN license or a current multistate compact license and possess an associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.

Additional requirements include:

One (1) or more years of experience in an acute care setting and/or geriatric setting preferred.Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (or) obtained within 90 days after hire dateRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.Department/Unit Summary

12 Bed Unit

1:6 Patient Ratio

10–12-day LOS

Patients receive therapy daily, participate in activities and communal meals

Therapy staff has a large presence on this unit as well and works collaboratively with nursing.

Option to work every 6th weekend, no mandatory overtime (three shifts per week only)

Extremely flexible scheduling options

Provider coverage on unit to provide nursing support 24/7

Admissions and discharges are planned well in advance, so it is much less turnover for patients than an inpatient setting
