  Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Release Manager/Cross Team Coordinator to join our team in Ft. Detrick, MD.

  Responsibilities

  Acts as the overall Scrum Master and Coach for an Agile Release Train (ART) or group of Agile Delivery Teams. The focus is on delivery, process improvement, removing team impediments, driving alignment, facilitating Program or ART level events, helping and coaching team members and encouraging a smooth flow of value.

  Enable teams to remove impediments and act as escalation point for impediments

  Own escalated impediments and raise issues to leadership if they cannot be resolved in a timely manner

  Continuously work with teams and to deliver PI Objectives

  Manage dependencies between Agile Teams within and across Agile Release Trains

  Partner with others to identify and address staffing and tool needs

  Enable and coach teams to define capacity for PI Planning

  Actively drive and ensure alignment between workstreams in the ART by facilitating necessary meetings and working sessions

  Develop and serve as owner of the program release communication plan; schedule and facilitate program release planning activities

  Gather and report performance information and metrics (e.g., Release burn down data, etc.)

  Update and communicate Release Plans

  Collaborate with Product Management, Systems Architects, teams and others as people as needed

  Required Qualifications

  SAFe SPC or Release Train Engineer (RTE) Certification

  Experience serving in a Release Train Engineer role on a Government contract for Legacy Systems undergoing modernization and eventually being replaced.

  Bachelor's degree

  6+ years of agile engineering/management experience

  2+ years of Agile Leadership experience

  Hands-on experience as a successful Scrum Master OR Release Train Engineer

  Experience using Jira software for PI Planning and Execution

  Clearance Requirements

  An Active Public Trust or ability to obtain

  Must be a US Citizen

  Physical Requirements

  Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
