DescriptionThe Relationship Banker is a frontline financial partner (financial MDs)that is part of a supportive and dynamic member focused sales team. As anRelationship Banker, you'll work in a fast-paced environment processingroutine financial transactions for members in-person, over the phone, andby e-mail. You'll engage in consultative conversations with members toestablish a strong rapport and understanding of their financial needs andoffer tailored products and services to help them reach their financialdreams.
Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful:Job duties:
Quickly process routine financial transactions for members including depositsand withdrawals, loan payments, and cashier's checks, while ensuringregulatory compliance and adherence to internal proceduresEstablish and maintain member deposit and loan accountsProvide the highest quality of member service by promptly addressing memberconcerns and escalate to leadership when appropriateProactively identify and recommend the best products and services to meet themembers' financial needs and partner with service teams includinginsurance, investments, Premier, and mortgageMeet quarterly metrics and service objectives (i.e. campaigns,cross-selling, and referrals), alongside sales targets, and incentivesto help drive and execute on key business goals andinitiativesComplete required compliance training within well-defined timelines andutilize available resources to maintain in depth current knowledge of allcurrent credit union products and servicesPerform account maintenance activities including updating member contact andpersonal informationPerform follow-up activities and outbound calls for new and existing membersEssential skills:Minimum six (6) months in a fast-paced sales or customer service rolerequired; financial services experience preferredAbility to listen to members' needs and provide tailored productrecommendationsExcellent listening skills with the ability to ask probing questions,understand concerns, and overcome objectionsExcellent verbal and written communication skills; able to express ideasconcisely and logicallyDemonstrated effective time management skills and the ability to workindependently or in a collaborative team environmentAbility to work in fast-paced customer service and sales environment withoutsacrificing accuracy and serviceAptitude for learning a variety of computer systems using technology to solvemember issuesPossesses critical thinking and decision-making skills with attention todetailWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteMinimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalentCertification/License: Notary preferredLocation:Denver, CO80237 (FULL TIME ON SITE)Target Compensation:$19.00 to $24.00 per hour + quarterly incentiveBenefits options include:Traditional medical, dental, and vision coverage401K matching up to 5% per pay periodAccrue up to 17 days of Paid Time Off your first year of employment11 paid federal holidaysSpecial employee pricing on lending products such as mortgage, auto, andpersonal loans (eligibility for special employee pricing is subject tostandard account requirements and underwriting criteria)First Tech is not currently offering Visa sponsorship or transfer for thispositionWhat makes First Tech different?
