What will you be doing in this role?
Providing assistance with physical therapy treatment for patientssuffering from injuries and/or muscle, nerve, joint, and bonedisease.Monitoring the clinics patients and supporting the therapist withtreatment needs facilitate a convenient and safe environment whileproviding excellent customer service.Assisting in front office tasks which may include greeting patients,answering the telephone, supporting registration, data entry,filing, and patient record upkeep.Safeguarding and escorting patients from one location to another, ifneeded.Continually clean and organize treatment areas and equipment.Prepare patients, treatment areas, equipment, and supplies such asfitness equipment and linens.May do laundry on occasion.Inventory of supplies and equipment.Cleaning work areas and equipment before, during, and after shift.Facilitating an efficient environment for coworkers.This does not necessarily list all responsibilities, duties,requirements, or efforts associated with the job. Our ideal candidate will have:
Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or oneto three months of related experience and/or training; or anequivalent combination of education and experienceHave a background or interest in physical therapy, kinesiology,exercise science, or physiologyProvide a CPR/AED/BLS (basic life support) certification or have theability to obtain it prior to the start of employment; maintain andprovide proof of current certification(s)Have the ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout the entireassigned shiftHave the ability to left, pull, and/or move up to 50 poundsHave a high degree of professionalism in both written and verbalcommunicationHave the ability to work both independently and in a teamenvironment, without constant supervisionBe able to maintain confidentialityHave strong computer skills, including proficiency with databasesand with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word,PowerPoint, and ExcelHave the ability to work both independently and in a teamenvironment, without constant supervisionWhat you get from us:
