At Jefferson House we provide excellent long-term care and rehabilitation services to seniors in the greater Hartford area for over 120 years. We are comprised of a skilled and caring staff which provides seniors with Nursing Services, Therapeutic Recreation, Spiritual Services, and Social Services, aimed at caring for the whole individual. Provides holistic, quality and cost-effective nursing care for patients/families and/or others for a patient population within a unit, service or other primary area of practice with an awareness of the episode of care. Applies the nursing process within the context of the organization's Framework for Professional Practice. Functions as clinically competent. Delegates and supervises work appropriately. Reports to Unit Manager. 1. RN CT License. 2. RN Diploma, Associate Degree, BS in Nursing, or BS, BA( non- Nursing). 3. New graduates will require one year of experience to become competent, with an evaluation at 6 months to assess progress. We take great care of careers.
