　　OPSC PACU supports 12 OR’s that accommodate: General Surgery, ENT, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, Urology, GI, neuro, pain, plastics, and hematology-oncology. The daily census ranges from 40-60+ patients per day with on average 15-20% representing the pediatric population, which we also provide pre-operative support for. Peds Pre-op staff arrive at 0600, with PACU staff arriving between 0730-1100, most working 10 hour shifts, with 8 and 12 hour shifts uncommon but considered on a case by case basis – No weekends, nights or holidays. The PACU offers an excellent opportunity to practice on a team of collaborative professionals within a supportive environment. 　　Position Compensation Range: $39.90 - $53.00 Hourly

　　MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

　　Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.

　　Experience: 1 year of relevant experience.

　　Licensure: Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.

　　PHYSICAL DEMANDS

　　Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently traveling, bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
