Vibra Hospital of Denver, located in Thornton, CO, is a 54 bed CriticalCare Hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering fromserious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients require additional criticalcare services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectiousdiseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputationand ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer anopportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where youreally get to know your patients and their families.
Responsibilities
The RN develops, implements, evaluates and revises a plan of care ofassigned patients and families while promoting the mission and values of VibraHealthcare. The provision of care includes direct care along with thedelegation and supervision of all nursing care in accordance with theapplicable Nurse Practice Act. Specific components of the Registered Nurserole include demonstrating clinical competence; managing patient care;improving quality of care; establishing professional relationships andutilizing professional skills; fulfilling responsibilities of the role ofthe hospital; and developing clinical expertise per specialty.Required Skills:Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse inthe state of employment required.Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.Current ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required within six(6) months of hire.Additional Qualifications/Skills:Previous acute care experience is strongly preferred.Ability to project a professional image.Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in theworkplaceBenefits

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors thatare considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limitedto, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure ndcertifications, and other business and organizational needs. It's nottypical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range fortheir role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts andcircumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is$35.Shift Differentials:NOC - $5/hr on weekday nights, $8/hr on weekend nightsDay weekends - $2.50/hr
