JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Nurse Clinician 2 is responsible for providingdirect and indirect patient care to a mostly geriatric and/or disabledpopulation at the WVHK. The incumbent provides direction to other staffin the provision and coordination of member care, and monitors caregiven by other health team members on a unit, floor, or in a building.All activities are performed in accordance with applicable standards ofpractice, facility policy and procedures, and WDVA, WVHK andgovernmental rules and regulations. These are flexible part-timepositions with the option to pick up additional hours as desired with norequired overtime. Shifts are available AM, PM, NOC, holidays andweekends. Candidate preferences gathered at time of interview. LTE jobsare limited to 1039 hours in a 12-month period and do not includeemployee benefits. Job duties require the ability to assist in mobilityefforts, stand and/or walk up to 75% of eight-hour day to provideassessments, kneel, stoop, make visual observations, lift, push, pull,carry, reach, maintain hygiene, use special safety equipment, and wearprotective clothing. Employment in this position is contingent uponpassing a pre-employment tuberculosis (TB) skin test.
