　　Job Summary and Qualifications

　　What you will do in this role:

　　Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.

　　Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.

　　Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.

　　Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response.

　　Maintain a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of Pediatric ICU patients.

　　What you will need in this role:

　　Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

　　Current State of Florida Registered RN License, or

　　Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)

　　Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross

　　Advanced certifications (i.e. CEN, TNCC, etc.) preferred

　　Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.

　　A minimum of one year acute care hospital Pediatric ICU RN experience.

　　HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is a 204-bed facility in Palm Beach County. We offer preventative and elective programs and surgeries. We are an Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Primary Stroke Center. HCA Florida Palms West Hospital has emergency services, a dedicated New Life Center and a Level II NICU. We have a full-service Children’s Hospital. Services include outpatient rehabilitation, an aquatics center, orthopedic spine center, robotics, and interventional radiology. HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is located on a 94-acre campus in Palm Beach County. The surrounding areas include Wellington, Royal Palm Beach and Loxahatchee.
