Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking a highly skilled, compassionate Labor and Delivery registered nurse to deliver exceptional direct patient care in our Labor and Delivery setting. In this role, you will provide assessment and planning for individualized patient care. You will communicate with physicians about changes in patients’ clinical condition

You will respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment

You will act in a composed and professional manner, especially under pressure

You will perform general nursing duties in all Maternal Child Health departments with adequate supervision

You will maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts

You will participate in performance improvement activities

You will act as the patient’s advocate, as circumstances require

What qualifications you will need:

This Position is 12 Hour Straight Shifts

Current California Registered Nurse License

A minimum of 1-2 years of acute care experience, prefer previous experience in Labor Delivery

Current BLS required

Current ACLS required

Current NRP required

Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification within 90 days of hire
