Job Overview
The Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse provides patient care in a surgicalsetting in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice with thepolicies, values, and mission of the organization. Monitors and managesthe patient and operative environment during surgery to maintain a safeenvironment, optimize outcomes and maximize available resources. Providesdirect guidance and oversight of new graduate nurses and newly hired teammembers in all patient care and clinical activities and ensures that behaviorsadhere to documentation standards, standards of excellence and all otherpolicies and procedure.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)Experience: 2 years nursing experience and 1 year operating room experienceCertification(s): BLS/CPR, ACLS, and PALS from the American HeartAssociation with at least 6 months left before expiration is required uponhire. CNOR within 6 months of hire.Licensure(s): Current State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
