Tiegerman Community Services is seeking a Nurse (RN) to join our Adult Services Programs located in Farmingdale and Westbury, NY!
This position is split and requires travel between our Residence located in Farmingdale and our site based Day Habilitation Program located in Westbury.
Under the supervision of the Director and Assistant Director of Adult Services, the Registered Nurse is responsible for providing evaluation, diagnosis, and medical intervention in accordance with Tiegerman Community Services policies and procedures and the regulations and requirements of other regulatory agencies and the standards of the profession. The Registered Nurse is responsible for monitoring the treatment plans and progress of the individuals.
Requirements:
Ability to lift and position adults and frequent stooping, bending, kneeling and pushing and pulling of heavy objects such as furniture and/or wheelchairs.License and current registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of New YorkValid New York State Driver's License
