Pay Range: $20.02 - $22.42 (min - 12% above min)/hr*

Responsible for providing skills instruction and behavior reduction protocolsbased upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children withautism, serious emotional disabilities and other developmental disabilitiesin the school setting, under the direction of a BCBA (Board CertifiedBehavior Analyst). The Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) willcollect data on programs, assist with staff trainings, and assist withassessments as needed.

Description of Job Tasks
Provide direct student instruction, and assist staff withimplementation, in one-on-one and group settings utilizing a combination ofintensive teaching and natural environment teaching arrangements. Followprescribed behavior skills acquisition and behavior change protocols. Assistwith preparing materials as necessary.
Collect, record and summarize data on observable student behavior. Assistwith skill acquisition and behavioral assessments. Collect data on allprogramming.
Document interventions, progress data, session notes
Assist with staff training of student's individualized treatment andbehavior change protocols, through direct teaching, modeling and fidelitychecks.
Immediately report to BCBA any student incidents/variances or complaints.
Attend work and arrive in a timely manner.
Communicate with staff regarding student progress as instructed by theBCBA. Collaborate with school teams and attend IEP meetings as necessary.
Participate in in-service programs and present in-service programs asassigned.
Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND LICENSES:
High School diploma or GED equivalent required; Associates orBachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education or relatedfield preferred
Two years' experience in a school setting, working with students withbehavior challenges (including students with Autism, SED and otherdevelopmental disabilities)
Criminal background check required for hire
Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) certification, includingannual renewal and registration, or desire to work toward receiving RBTcertifi
CPR and CPI certification
