The Role
The Regional Vice President of Sales for the large enterprise segment will leverage their extensive market knowledge to drive outcome based selling motions for new sales and maximize revenue growth. This role works in partnership with Marketing, Customer Success, Partner Alliances, Technical Overlay team and Product, therefore cross-company engagement and orchestration is crucial. The candidate will be a high impact individual capable of driving outstanding business results & first-class employee development. The RVP is fully responsible for developing and leading the team to generate revenue and achieve individual team and organizational quotas. Aligning to the sales strategy, the Sales Leader defines and implements plans for the assigned accounts to achieve sales objectives.
The Main Responsibilities
Drive the business strategy to identify and penetrate new customer opportunities within sales territory.
Define team objectives and outcomes; Enable success across boundaries; Help the team adapt and learn.
Engage at C-level in enterprise customer organizations and develop required corporate relationships and executive engagement to support success.
Provide support and guidance to team by participating and leading in client and prospect meetings or engaging other corporate resources as required.
Development of a successful team, including recruiting, hiring and training.
Lead, coach, and motivate a team of 6-8 sales directors who are responsible for managing 50-60 salespeople across different regions and markets.
Accurate reporting on sales activity and forecasting to senior sales management
Design strategy to leverage key Alliance and channel partner relationships within sales territory to deliver incremental revenue opportunities.
Actively leading and monitoring demand generation activities
What We Look For in a Candidate
Master’s Degree or MBA preferred.
10+ years of sales management experience (at the Vice President or equivalent level) managing a geographically distributed team.
Consistent track record to create impactful teams and lead them to success.
Experience disrupting or transforming markets with a deep understanding of the market landscape.
Compensation
The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.
Location Based Pay Ranges
$196650 - $245813 in these states: AR, KY, LA, and MS.
$207000 - $258750 in these states: IN, KS, MO, OH, and TN.
$217350 - $271688 in these states: MI.
As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.
