　　Note - This is a fully remote positionPosition Summary:The Regional Procurement Leader will operate to achieve the best cost structure and continuity of supply for all purchased.materials and services as required by the Global Procurement Strategy, ensuring the highest quality standards and theCompliance with Trimas Packaging' policies and proceduresPrimary Duties and Responsibilities:* In agreement with the Global Procurement Leadership and with the other Regional Procurement Leaders develop,implement, direct and control the sourcing and purchasing strategies to promote a high-performance supplier's network able to support TriMas Packaging' goals and to reach the highest level of cost effectiveness and service.reliability.* Lead efforts to implement global purchasing strategies at regional level* Lead the definition and achievement of the regional procurement targets.* Manage regional and international material suppliers, service providers and equipment vendors* Lead all sourcing commercial issues related to assigned materials and commodity, including negotiation,preparation and execution of procurement agreements for the Region of his/her competence.* Lead all negotiations of service items in agreement with local management for the Region of his/her competence.Prepare and execute service contracts with support of local management.* Develop RFQ processes, list of potential bidders, analyze opportunities on fact-based parameters and completethe associated financial analysis.* Develop and agree KPIs in agreement with relevant factories to measure quality, costs, delivery andresponsiveness of supplier base* Track suppliers' performances via defined KPIs with the support of relevant factories.* Identify and propose projects aiming to achieve agreed cost savings target. Lead the implementation of approved projects.* Continuously evaluate the overall market to best understand available supply, commodity pricing and forecasts,product offerings and risks/opportunities* Keep an updated knowledge of purchasing technology trends

　　Qualifications

　　Bachelors degree in supply chain management or similar majorAt a minimum 5-6 years in a procurement/purchasing related role, with 2 of those years in a management/leadership role.Comprehensive knowledge of procurement concepts and processes.Ability to report to senior leadership.Excellent analytical skills.Able to develop and negotiate contracts.Familiar with sourcing management.Able to work in cross functional teams.Communication skills.
