Provide leadership, direction, and support to property managers and their teams. Accountable for execution of company objectives in three key areas including: people, profitability, and growth. Maintains strong business partnerships with all internal customers and ensures Bigos property performance meets or exceeds targets of all Key Performance Indicators. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES The Regional Manager will maximize revenue, control costs, increase resident retention, and supervise, develop, and support property managers and their teams and ensure compliance with all corporate policies and procedures Review financial statements, community activity reports, maintenance inspections, and KPIs to measure productivity, goal achievement and to determine areas needing improvement Implement revenue maximization and expense management strategies Partner with property operations team to ensure Bigos standards are upheld, including physical asset quality, leasing and maintenance operations, and customer service Identify property performance deficiencies and implement corrective action plans including customer service, leasing, risk management, and safety Supervise, train, mentor, and develop property managers and teams, taking corrective action when needed. Partner with Human Resources on recruitment and hiring Maintain thorough product and market knowledge on all assigned communities through site visits and market research Review and approve all property purchasing for adherence to budget Manage escalated resident issues Arrange or fill in for property coverage including office coverage and business continuity QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BA or BS degree from a four-year college or university with focus in Real Estate, Business, related discipline, or equivalent work experience Minimum of 5 years of experience as a property manager Experience with Yardi Software highly preferred SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Fluent in English and skilled in oral and written communication Ability to use tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous manner when dealing with staff, residents, and the public Ability to manage, coach and lead teams Decision-making, problem solving, and time management skills Ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously with self-direction Must have reliable transportation, valid state driver's license and proof of insurance as travel between sites is required As set forth in Bigos Management s Equal Employment Opportunity policy, we do not discriminate on the bases of any protected group of status under any applicable law.
