In this role: This position is responsible for implementing and monitoring the Stratasys programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations.
What you will be doing:
Safety
Develop and design regional policies and procedures relevant to Safety and Facilities to meet required codes and regulations
Designed, implemented, and continuously improved corporate EH&S management consistent with industry-standard practices. Partners with each facility and on requirements to modify programs based on local and state requirements
Develop and oversee programs that ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies
Direct the planning, response, and recovery operation for emergencies and disaster recovery and coordinate the development and implementation of appropriate response plans
Working with corp. security team to develop and implement security awareness programs, travel security assistance, risk assessment, and planning for crisis management in the region
Develop programs to monitor safety equipment inventory and perform periodic safety inspections
Coordinates proactive monitoring and maintenance of facilities systems to ensure maximum operational efficiency and uptime
Establish regional sub-teams in Stratasys locations for local programs
Environmental
Monitors hazardous waste removal vendors and may assist in consolidating hazardous wastes (chemical and/or medical)
Monitors environmental compliance and maintains liaison with appropriate regulatory agencies
Responsible for providing technical expertise, tasking, training, and oversight on company facilities across the U.S.
Coordinate and administer policies and procedures for government contracts in accordance with the Department of Defense
Provide strategic and proactive direction on initiatives to improve regional performance by minimizing risks and liabilities
Ensure ISO and OSHA documentation is maintained and develop goals for the EHS program
Must have for this role:
Four Year Degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering or other related field
8+ years’ experience in an EH&S position to include global programs
Proficient in environmental engineering principles, regulations, and project requirements
Project management experience desired
Basic understanding of engineering drawings to prepare, understand, and interpret
Proficient knowledge of Global EH&S related regulations, including US and EU
Nice to have:
Experience leading multisite programs
Experience with critical system environments
In-depth understanding of the Environmental, Health, and Safety area, policies, laws, procedures CMMS/Work order Management
Strong discipline in financial management, including financial tracking, budgeting, and forecasting
Travel Requirements: 10 % domestic/international
