  Position Overview:This position is primarily responsible for the oversight and direction of an entire assigned lending territory including origination, development and maintenance of profitable business relationships, developing, implementing, interpreting and maintaining lending policies and procedures and ensuring all lending programs comply with federal and state regulations as well as Bank policy.  The incumbent is part of the senior management team and participates in the Bank's overall management and planning.

  Primary Responsibilities:Provides loan underwriting and structuring guidance and support for an assigned lending region.Reviews underwriting requests for compliance with Bank policy and regulatory requirements.Provides credit approval for requests within defined lending authority that meet the Bank's underwriting standards and lending objectives.Supports the Bank's established lending goals while maintaining desired asset quality levels.Assists with the mentoring, guidance and support of assigned lending team.  Assists and mentors credit analysts as needed with difficult credit underwriting issues.  Assists lending staff in identifying appropriate risk ratings.  Assist in managing criticized assets.Monitors loan exception items for assigned regions and work with lending team to resolve.  Monitors regional credit quality issues such as delinquency, etc.Participates as a member of SACC for respective regional credits.Assists with review, analysis and integration of acquisition opportunities.Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.All employees have the responsibility and the accountability to serve as risk managers for their businesses by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing and monitoring the risk they encounter daily as required by F.N.B.   Minimum Education:BA or BS

  Minimum Years Experience:10

  Special Skills:Excellent management skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalExcellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skillsExcellent customer service skillsAbility to use a personal computer and job-related softwareMS Word - Basic LevelMS Excel - Intermediate LevelMS PowerPoint - Basic LevelMBA preferred.  Experience in banking, finance or a related field.  Knowledge of banking regulatory and compliance issues preferred.
