VCA hospitals located in Columbia, MD are looking for a Relief DVM who enjoys practicing advanced medicine with some amazingly talented teams!

Our three hospitals, VCA Lewis, VCA Columbia Animal Hospital at Centre Park and VCA Columbia Animal Hospital at Hickory Ridge are looking for a relief doctor to travel between these hospitals (and maybe others) to cover when our full time doctors are out of the office!

Each of these hospitals has a hospital team that operates well together. The teams genuinely look forward to coming to work with their friends. The hospitals are AAHA certified, Feline Friendly practices, with most of the associates being Fear-Free certified as well!

We are looking for a relief doctor or two that would be available to pick up shifts while our doctors take much needed time off or attend CE. The need for coverage does vary at each hospital, but they are all close together and easy to get to.

The three hospitals have been serving the Columbia, Maryland and surrounding areas such as Ellicott City, Laurel, Elkridge, Clarksville, Hanover, Catonsville, and Baltimore for over 25 years! We are full service small animal practices for puppies, kittens, dogs and cats. We also partner with local shelters, such as BARCS and MDSPCA, and participate in local events for the community.

This is a salaried position.
