The recruiter will attend events, travel toarea schools, be a part of the student services team to create arecruitment plan and assist with implementing the strategic enrollmentmanagement playbook. Key Responsibilities: Provide continuous positiverelationship management with admission inquiries through to applicationstatus. Research and create annual recruitment initiatives to determinewhere students will be recruited from, which students will be targeted,and who will perform the recruiting activities. Be a contributing memberof the Strategic Enrollment Management Plan (SEMP) team as needed forrecruitment purposes. Work with Student Services team and facultyadvisors to determine optimal enrollment for each program and overallcollege enrollment targets. Create opportunities for high schoolstudents, staff, and administrators to be on the LCOOU campus; providecampus tours. Visit high schools and middle schools in the service areaon a regular basis. Visit local service organizations (Voc. Rehab, TANF,etc.) to promote the university\'s capabilities of providing services totheir clients. Development and management of the Student AmbassadorProgram. Enter inquiry data into Ellucian Colleague system to track allrecruitment efforts and outcomes. Cross train with admissions to managean inquiry portal for potential incoming students. Other related dutiesas assigned by supervisor and/or University President Knowledge, Skills,and Abilities Required: Knowledge of and commitment to the mission andgoals of LCOOU. Excellent interpersonal communication skills, includingthe ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholdersand audiences. Demonstrated commitment to serving students with diversebackgrounds, interests, goals, and abilities. Knowledge andunderstanding of working with Native American Communities. Strongorganizational skills, including the ability to handle details andmultiple tasks with deadlines met. Knowledge of the LCOOU programofferings, admissions requirements, the college search process, andfinancial aid to assist prospective and current students. Positionrequires a willingness to travel for college related business - outreachsites and external meetings as needed. Proficient with technology used in educationalprograms and services, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint orsimilar software. Valid driver\'s license. Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or Communicationsor 10 years\' experience as an administrative assistance Experienceworking with financial aid operations, functions, and procedures.
