Your day to day:
People
Monitor personnel to ensure guests receive prompt, cordial attention and personal recognition following the brand standard.
Supervise and assist personnel to ensure members known as repeat gusts and other VIPs receive special attention and recognition.
Ensure that appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, uniforms, appearance and posture of departmental employees are maintained.
Be knowledgeable and conduct daily staff briefings about facilities, activities, equipment, services and other information.
Liaise with other departments such as Laundry, Housekeeping and Engineering to provide great service.
Financial
Supervise and guide the team to ensure optimum sales techniques are used for the purpose of maximizing revenue.Guest Experience
Ensure guest amenities and towels are available all the time in excellent quality.
Ensure that all registration and charging procedures are followed all the time.
Conduct activities and services for guest and members while giving proper instruction and safety reminders.
Apply correct charges to guests and visitors where applicable for use of the facilities and services.
Demonstrate service attributes in accordance with industry expectations and company standards.
Responsible Business
Ensure overall responsibility for maintaining standards within the areas and keep the facilities and equipment clean and well maintained.
Schedule and regularly conduct routine inspections of areas.
Maintain detailed knowledge of the hotel’s emergency response procedures.
Demonstrate understanding and awareness of all policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene, Security and FLS.
Ensure tall security incidents, accidents and near misses are always reported and brought to the attention of the Manager.
What we need from you
A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
Bachelor’s Degree/Higher Education qualification/equivalent in hospitality or related field
4+ years total experience in a related field in a luxury hotel or a well-established hotel brand
Direct supervisory experience over Spa and Recreation or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
