Summary About the position: This position is located at Aviano Lanes (Area 1). This is a NAF (Non-Appropriated Fund) position assigned to the 31st Force Support Squadron on Aviano AB, Italy. Responsibilities Handles and collects cash and credit transactions, take reservations and payments for scheduled activities, operates Point of Sales system (POS), assigns lockers, assists in taking inventory and replenish pro-shop merchandise, as needed. Responsible for basic slot machine operations and slot pay-outs. Decorates and cleans up for scheduled activities. Responsible for manning the customer service desk and maintains the cleanliness of assigned work areas. Posts announcements and recruits participants for scheduled activities regarding leagues, tournaments, special events. Provides facility and program information to patrons. Opens and closes facility as required. Performs other related duties as assigned. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Qualifying Experience: Practical knowledge of recreational activities, rules and procedures. Ability to safeguard and handle cash and skill in the use and maintenance of various recreational equipment and facilities are desirable. Direct handling of cash items, and use of cash accountability control methods is required. Must be able to lift as least 40 pounds. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify.
