Siemens Energy Gas Services Central LGN Business Segment is growing and looking to add a Financial Analyst to be an integral member of this highly visible, dynamic, and hard-working team. As a member of the finance team, you will have primary responsibility for product cost controlling, material valuation, and transfer pricing activities. You will collaborate with technical and financial partners in support of project execution and related activities.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Responsible for commercial aspects of material costing including production order variance analysis and spare parts margin analysis.
Maintain accurate standard costs for making parts and develop transfer pricing models across multiple product lines within the business segment.
Analyze production order variances to determine the root cause of deviations; review analysis with the technical team and take action as appropriate.
Collaborate with Order Managers, Planners, Procurement, and others in support of product costing and transfer pricing activities.
Provide financial support to Tendering and Order Management teams as needed to ensure quality and timely submission of parts and service quotes.
Work closely with Inventory analysts to align on updates to standard costs.
Ensure accuracy of books and records and maintain compliance with financial guidelines.
Work closely with other members of the finance team to align on forecast developments; maintain communication with finance management regarding known deviations to monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts.
Support make/buy analysis, special projects, and ad hoc analysis as needed.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or a related field required.
2+ years’ experience in finance/accounting
Thorough understanding of GAAP and IFRS; strong skills in PC applications, including SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
Experience in forecasting, budgeting, monthly reporting, and variance analysis.
Understanding of standard costing concepts, transfer pricing, and/or inventory analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization. Must be able to identify issues and resolve them independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrate excellent leadership, communication skills, and willingness to learn from others.
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
