Reclaim Operator: Position Grade C (Entry-Level)
Position Objective
To ensure that requirements for quality are met through monitoring and inspection; comparing the result to the requirements and specifications; and reporting these results to department supervisor.
Training
Per Master Training Plan.
Authority / Decision Making
Authority to determine product quality.
Authority to determine N/C product and the disposition there of.
Training department personnel and determine competency.
Stop extruder line in an emergency situation.
Authority as delegated by Supervisor / Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
Task and Duties
Safety - complies with written and verbal safety rules of plant & dept.
Follow housekeeping requirements as designated and determined.
Monitor, inspect, and report on product quality as required by procedure.
Must pass all department and safety training courses.
Other duties as assigned by department supervisor or manager.
Run the extruder with some supervision.
Report any unsafe hazards or acts.
Operate forklift / must have or obtain forklift certification.
Must have regular, reliable attendance, and willing to work outside the regular schedule as required.
Willing to handle job stress and interact with others in the workplace.

Physical Visual Activity Required
Climbing, ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps, and the like, using feet and legs and / or hands arms. Body agility is emphasized.
Balancing, maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery or erratically moving surfaces.
Stooping, bending body downward and forward by bending spine and waist. Example: changing paper in printer, copier machine.
Kneeling, bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knee.
