Our client, a successful Investment Firm is seeking to hire a Temporary to Permanent Receptionist. The Receptionist will organize and coordinate office administration and procedures, to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and safety. The Receptionist/Office Assistant is responsible for responding to general inquiries (calls or emails), office communication protocols, greeting guests, inventory control, and representing the firm in a positive manner (onsite and at team events offsite). The successful candidate doesn't mind wearing multiple hats and must be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative duties and able to work independently with little or no supervision. This role requires someone in office Monday - Friday between the hours of 8am - 6pm depending on the shift.
Responsibilities:Answer phones, transfer calls and take messagesManage conference roomsAdd visitors to securityServe as the point person for maintenance, mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment, bills, and errandsOrganize and schedule meetings and appointmentsProvide general support to visitors ( take coats, escort folks to conference rooms and offer beverages)Participate actively in the planning and execution of company eventsCoordinate office staff activities to ensure maximum efficiencyOrganize orientation and training of new staff membersDesign and implement filing systems and ensure filing systems are maintained and currentEnsure security, integrity, and confidentiality of dataHandle expense reports for various team membersMonitor and maintain office supplies inventoryAd hoc projects as neededRequirements:1 + years of corporate office experienceExcellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize workAttention to detail and problem solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and planning skillsProficient in Microsoft OfficeCompensation:50K - 55K DOE + Paid OT + Discretionary Bonus + Great BenefitsBeacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
