Description The Receptionist is primarily responsible for answeringphones and managing all front desk operations including management ofthe security system. The Receptionist also provides administrativesupport for the Pittsfield office location which holds offices fromvarious departments within the agency. QUALIFICATIONS: Associate?sdegree in related field or High School Diploma/GED required with aminimum of one to three years of related experience. Must have goodcommunication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting withguests and staff. Must be able to multi-task and to handle sensitive andconfidential information as well as manage stressful situations. Must beproficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Must bearticulate, proactive and self-motivated. Ability to complete allinitial and ongoing background checks including but not limited to:CORI, SORI, Fingerprinting, LEIE, Driving record, E-verify, Physical,PPD and licensing and/or certification checks (i.e. nursing). Valid USdriver?s license and ready access to a vehicle. TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:Must maintain all certification needed in the program including: CPR,First Aid, and BFAIR Human Rights Training. May need to attendworkshops, seminars or BFAIR functions as needed for job development.RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Treat each person served, coworker, and others withthe respect and dignity due every human being and adhere to theDepartment of Developmental Disabilities (DDS) Human Rights Standards,including the timely reporting of violations. Also, to adhere to theDisabled Persons Protection Commission?s (DPPC) Mandated ReporterGuidelines around physical and emotional abuse. 2. Provideadministrative support to the Pittsfield office completing tasksincluding filing, typing, mailings and other related duties as required.3. Responsible for inventory management and coordination of officesupplies in conjunction with the Senior Administrative Assistant(located at the Main office location) via the agency?s policies andprocedures. ie. Amazon order requests, office supplies etc. 4. Performlight cleaning duties and tasks to be completed on a daily and weeklybasis, to ensure the upkeep and cleanliness of the office building. 5.Document units for calls from individuals served in family andindividual support program and provide to Director monthly. 6. Manageoversight of SDS manual and ordering of approved cleaning supplies asneeded in conjunction with Senior Administrative Assistant. 7. Act as anappropriate role model through dress, speech, and actions, to fostersocial/relationships and skill development. 8. Efficiently set-up forparties and meetings in the office as requested, breaking down the spaceand ensuring cleanliness after any scheduled events. 9. Assist withspecial projects working with graphics/designing, layouts, formatting,proof reading, and editing written context as needed. 10. Ensure thehighest level of confidentiality on all personal and professionalorganization information. 11. Welcome, sign-in and assist visitors andjob applicants in a friendly and professional manner, answer multi-linetelephone and perform other front desk duties as required. 12. Maintainand organize administrative files, create necessary forms, scandocuments into electronic format, and process/data entry of reports intoICentrix. 13. Assist with the maintenance of database information,production of related reports, telephone lists and other mailing listsas required. 14. Work in collaboration with Senior AdministrativeAssistant to obtain comparative price quotes as requested maintaininventory of printed materials, such as letterhead, envelopes, jobapplications, and agency brochures. 15.
