Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Receiving Specialist II to join the team at Albany, GA.

  T he Receiving Specialist II manages incoming IT Systems deliveries to warehouses, staging areas, or installation sites by verifying and signing for shipments, unloading and storing the received items, and processing any returns

  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  Collect data, document shipments, work with vendors, and track delivery of orders while working closely with the Procurement Analysts.

  Vendors to expedite deliveries to meet schedule deadlines for Maverick contract tasks

  Inspect deliveries against shipping manifests to ensure the deliveries match order and invoice criteria

  Organizing and storing received items in appropriate areas, updating inventory with received items, and maintaining records. This position may require 20% to 30% national and international travel. The Receiving Specialist II is responsible for all aspects of handling incoming IT Systems deliveries. The Receiving Specialist II takes direction from more senior personnel.

  Experience/Education:

  4 years+ related experience required

  Bachelors Degree required

  A candidate holding a relevant Master’s degree may be granted 2 years’ experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years’ experience credit for that extra education.

  Security Clearance:

  Top Secret RequiredPhysical Requirements:

  Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing/walking/Talking and must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one work site to another.

  Maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.

  Operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

  The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

  For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license. The applicant will be required to answer certain questions for export control purposes, and that information will be reviewed by compliance personnel to ensure compliance with federal law. ManTech may choose not to apply for a license for such individuals whose access to export-controlled technology or software source code may require authorization and may decline to proceed with an applicant on that basis alone.
