Pre-construction value engineering services tothe owner, architect, engineer and contractor makes CFA a welcome memberof the construction team.Primary ResponsibilitiesSupports the planning and estimating stages of projects to ensure the mostefficient, safe, and economical reinforcing systems are incorporated intothe project design.Oversees and coordinates material purchases, deliveries, tracking andforecasting ensuring maximum utilization of CFA's physical resources.Prepare accurate reinforcing take-offs and estimates for assigned projects onall types of contracts ranging from small to large and quite complex innature.Gathers, calculates and compiles data for use in preparing bid proposalestimates.Reads rebar shop drawings, post-tension shop drawings, stud-railreinforcement drawings and structural drawings.Contributes to the project's safety goals by reducing hazards during theplanning stages and ensuring that all installation and post-tensioningprocedures meet construction and safety standards.Reviews and incorporates historical productivity analysis reports and man-hourfigures to ensure accuracy in the bid process.Assesses specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and proposalqualifications.Assists with maximizing profitability with a focus on long term growth withoutcompromising safety or quality by monitoring cash flow, project margins,labor planning and spending.Work and coordinate closely with the VP of Operations, VP of BusinessDevelopment, Frame Operations Manager and Rebar General Superintendent forall reinforcing needs.Develops and maintains customer relationships to enhance company's abilityto procure projects, reduce risk, and ensure operational efficiency.Manages and coordinates all subcontractor and vendor Purchase Agreements andassociated processes and procedures.Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned orrequested for the general support of the organization.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or relatedfield, and/or equivalent combination of work experience successfullysupporting similar primary responsibilities meeting and exceeding performanceexpectations.Minimum three (3) years of experience in commercial concrete frameconstruction supporting key positions responsibilities.Knowledge of reinforcing and concrete construction systems, take-offs, andestimating processes.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability tocommunicate effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as withcustomers and vendors.Detail oriented with the ability to efficiently analyze and organizesignificant amounts of information regarding plan layouts, materialdeliveries and jobsite productivities.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).Advanced knowledge of safety and relevant OSHA requirements and regulations.Ability to travel and work for extended period of time on projects outside ofoffice.Applications submitted without a resume will not be considered.CFA offers a competitive benefit package that includes medical, dental,vision, life, and disability insurance, along with a generous 401k plan.Salary range for the position is $84,984 - $106,236 based on experience.Concrete Frame Associates is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Qualified candidates will be considered without regard to race, sex,disability, veteran status, sexual orientation or gender identity.
