We are currently seeking motivated candidates for a part time Real Estate Closing Assistant with our Mortgages Team at our Home Office in Auburn Hills, MI.

　　Job Duties (include but not limited to):

　　Assumes responsibility for providing effective administrative support for real estate lending closings.

　　Obtains payoffs and homeowners insurance for first and second mortgage closings.

　　Attends to phones for real estate lending closing hunt group

　　Schedules closings with borrowers and branches for second mortgage closings.

　　Coordinates with Title companies, borrower, and Notaries for first mortgage closings

　　Reviews loans before funding to ensure note and mortgage were properly executed

　　Prepares satisfactions of mortgage and mortgage subordinations

　　Ensures documentation of mortgages are properly recorded for lien placement

　　Addresses members' requests and questions promptly and courteously.

　　Answers questions and assists personnel with questions that may arise before, during, and after loan closings.

　　Qualifications:

　　High school graduate or equivalent.

　　Two years or more financial institution experience required

　　One or more years mortgage experience preferred but not required

　　Skills/Abilities:

　　Good organizational skills and attentive to detail

　　Good communication abilities.

　　Cooperative and works well with others.

　　Able to use computer related applications and basic business equipment

　　Good math skills.
