Reading/Math Tutors provide one-on-one or small group instruction to students of all ages and ability levels. They work with students to identify their individual needs, develop learning plans, and help them master reading and math concepts. Reading/Math Tutors also provide students with the motivation and support they need to succeed.

　　Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

　　Assess students' reading and math skills and identify their individual needs.

　　Develop and implement personalized learning plans for students.

　　Provide one-on-one or small group instruction in reading and math concepts.

　　Help students with homework and test preparation.

　　Monitor student progress and make adjustments to learning plans as needed.

　　Communicate with parents and teachers about students' progress.

　　Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.

　　Qualifications:

　　Strong knowledge of reading and math concepts and curriculum.

　　Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

　　Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

　　Patience and understanding.

　　Ability to motivate and support students.

　　Desired Skills:

　　Experience tutoring students in reading and math.

　　Knowledge of different teaching methods and strategies.

　　Experience working with students with a variety of learning needs.

　　Bilingualism in English and Spanish or another language.
