Your role:You'll join an interdisciplinary, and experienced medical robotics R&D team, tasked with inventing and launching the next generation of medical solutions for Philips' Image Guided Therapies business.In this role you will design and execute software Verification and Validation test procedures for the software and mechatronics systems and sub-systems.You will interact with development engineers in the team to qualify issues, report, and document test results in a regulation compliant manner.You have the opportunity to join early a team that is developing a new product in the surgical robotics space in close cooperation with clinical partners. You will be involved in improving our HW/SW test automation framework by identifying opportunities for automation and participating in the development of new protocols and tools. You've acquired 5+ years of professional experience in Systems/Product Verification/Validation Engineering, within a regulated systems/product environment preferably for medical robots. (FDA, ISO13485, IEC62304)Your skills include Python; C++; experience with Requirements and Verification/Validation management, experience in hands-on design and development and troubleshooting of embedded software, and hardware-in-the-loop systems; use Unit Testing and Software Verification and Validation processes; Testing and Validation of Real Time software applications; Testing and Validation of robotic and mechatronics systems.You have a Bachelor's degree, MS, or PhD, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.You're a self-motivated individual with good organizational and time management skills; and a strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges. You enjoy a high-paced professional and environment but also including significant individual contributions, as well as team collaboration using agile methodologies.You have strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface in a cross-disciplinary manner, including engineers, product managers, and clinical specialists.
