　　The R&D Project Manager leads the technical aspects in New Product Development projects as well as Core Business Engineering and provides leadership to the R&D personnel assigned to the respective projects.

　　In this role, the R&D Project Manager collaborates closely with the multidisciplinary Project Core Team comprised of employees from Dentsply Sirona sites in other countries.

　　Whilst comfortable and used to working in an international environment, a local focus remains paramount for cross-functional collaboration and ongoing compliance in a fast-evolving global Regulatory environment.

　　R&D Project Manager – Ballaigues, Switzerland

　　Role and responsibilities:

　　Leads the development of new medical devices in conformance with applicable international standards as well as with the Dentsply Sirona new product development procedure.

　　Leads R&D Projects for New Product Development, Core Business Engineering for Global Business Unit (GBU) Endodontics in collaboration with key project stakeholders.

　　Provides leadership to R&D project members and serves as R&D’s principal point of contact for the Project Management Office.

　　Defines project plan, human and financial resources needed to meet project objectives applying state of the art methods and tools for project management, and project documentation.

　　Provide coordination support when needed for all aspects related to Core Business: CAPA, NC, QH, and complaints.

　　Drives project execution in compliance with regulations, applicable standards and company procedures.

　　Creates and delivers regular verbal and written project updates to Management, to the Project Management Office and to R&D.

　　Delivers compliant Technical Documentation using Electronic Document Management systems in accordance with company procedures.

　　Partners with internal and external stakeholders critical for effective project execution.

　　Your profile:

　　You hold a PhD or MS in a relevant Engineering discipline with several years of experience within R&D. You have a broad technical background concerning product development phases and methods, mechanical design and microtechnology. A Project Management certification is a strong plus in combination with proven experience as a Project Manager at an international in an international matrix organization. You understand the medical device design control and international standards belonging to those design controls.

　　You are fluent in English and French (spoken and written), any other language is a plus. MS Office, especially MS Project has no secret for you while driving several projects in parallel based on priorities. You foster strong on-site , cross-site and cross-functional collaboration and you are willing to travel occassionaly (a few times per year) in Europe.
