Your Impact at CNIB
Take a leadership role in maintaining the administrative functions of the Alberta CTW team.
Responsible for inputting and managing data within the Government of Alberta tracking system, Mobius, while ensuring consistency with information entered into Salesforce.
Support in conducting intake assessments and establish initial employment action plan with participants when required.
Research, develop and deliver regional and national program sessions/workshops to Talent Pool members focusing on job- readiness skills.
Contribute to the development of and utilization of the appropriate assessment tools for consistency and to ensure data is clean and optimized through Salesforce and that participants have a relevant and actionable goal progression against agreed (documented) timeline.
Develop relationships with potential Vocational Partners to support Talent Pool Members in their career/employment goals.
Coordinate the planning and execution of project deliverables with project staff from across the country, supporting the stages of progression and outcome measures.
Assist with the development of regional programming that compliments the already existing national programming.
Who you are:
Education and Certifications
Degree or diploma in related field, or equivalent work experience.Experience and Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in administrative role.
Proven time management and organization skills; amenable to changing priorities, deadlines, and procedures.
Advanced computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office software including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Proficiency/working knowledge of Salesforce an asset.
Experience working with Mobius or other government databases an asset.
Excellent English written and oral communications skills.
Experience in reporting and maintaining efficient record-keeping.
Customer service oriented with well-developed interpersonal skills.
Professional attitude, results oriented, self-directed, and flexible.
Demonstrates mature and sensitive nature, as well as emotional and social stability when dealing with the needs of persons experiencing sight loss and other functional challenges is an asset.
Must be able to work independently.
Personal or professional experience relating to blindness and sight loss is considered an asset.
Personal or professional experience working with assistive technology and/or accessible environments is considered an asset.
