Job Description:
The RAN Tier 2 - Sr Specialist will focus on network fault resolution, trouble ticket management, and performance analysis of the Ericsson RAN network, including Linux server administration for Virtual RAN (VNF) management. The candidate should have experience with Linux server administration, RAN equipment management, Small Cell Network components, and Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS). Strong written and verbal communication skills in fluent English are required, and previous experience in a Network Operations Center is highly desirable.
Key Qualifications:
Knowledge of LINUX for network management and troubleshooting
Experience troubleshooting Ericsson RAN equipment (LTE, 5G)
Familiarity with Small Cell Network components and Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS)
Strong written and verbal communication skills in fluent English
Previous experience in a Network Operations Center is highly desirable
Job Duties:
Remote triage/restoral, prioritization, and performance analysis for RAN technologies
Collaborate with multiple support organizations to minimize customer impact and loss
Analyze indicators such as RSSI, VSWR, and KPIs to assess cell performance
Daily fault troubleshooting and performance troubleshooting
Provide technical support to field personnel
Trouble analysis prior to possible Tier 3 escalation
Contribute to diverse projects and recommend new procedures and processes

Knowledge of LINUX for network management and troubleshooting
Knowledge of Ericsson RAN equipment (UMTS, LTE, 5G)
Ability to independently solve non-routine problems based on multiple factors
Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and collaboration with peers
Working Hours:
The position requires a flexibility to accommodate to business needs
Hybrid model: 1-3 days in AT&T Brno office (available after trial period)
