Performs radiographic procedures. Applies principles of radiation protection. Evaluates radiographs for technical quality. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of procedures. Provides patient care essential to radiographic procedures. Recognizes patient conditions requiring immediate action and initiates life support measures. Maintains patient confidentiality.EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) Accredited Radiography Program, or equivalent. Certification by the American Registry of Radiographic Technologist, or equivalent. Competency in components of radiography practice as appropriate. Valid state licensure. Must have valid CPR Certification.Must be computer-literate to complete task(s) as required.
