This is a twelve-month position stationed atthe Main campus in Little Rock.
The successful candidate must possess knowledge of internet andconventional office technology tools, email, internet search engines andMicrosoft Office software Word, Excel, and Outlook. Candidate must havethe ability to organize multiple tasks and documents that have beenconcurrently assigned; maintain cohesive working files and documentationof project tasks; work a flexible schedule which includes nights,weekends, and holidays; and self-initiate project tasks after acceptingan assignment under general supervision. Communications skills, oral andwritten, are essential. Candidate must have the ability to operate amotor vehicle and hold a valid drivers license and to travel in and outof state, which may include overnight stays.
General Responsibilities:
Maintain relationships with high school counselors and community basedorganization representatives.
Visit high schools to recruit students, working college fairs as well aspresenting at college-day and community events.
Assist with the development of recruitment strategies and projects whilecollaborating with other campus departments and offices regardingrecruiting activities.
Plan and participate in on-and off-campus recruiting events.
Report and track recruiting activities; develop a robust communicationstrategy to provide adequate follow-up to interested prospectivestudents.
Provide students and visitors with information about UA - PTC,admissions requirements, and undergraduate programs of study within theoffice campus visit program.
Provide administrative support during peak admission operationsprocessing times by answering phones, meeting with students andprocessing student applications and documents.
Provide campus tours to prospective students and their families.
Other duties as assigned.
