Research and Development/Engineering Manager Heritage Cutter is aprivately held, US manufacturer of precision cutting tools. Data Fluteis the recognized leader in high performance, application specific,solid carbide end mills. This position will maintain & solidify thatleadership position & identify & capitalize on adjacent product areas inthe round tool market where Data Flute can build & maintain leadershipposition based upon performance & application specificity. TheR&D/Engineering Manager will be responsible for maintaining our positionas a high-performance, application specific products. This position willalso maintain the company\'s position of technological & productleadership within the solid carbide, round tool industry and beresponsible to, identify, formulate, test & commercialize new products.This position will be in charge of the engineering and R&D groups andalso interact with Product Management. The engineering department isalso responsible to provide advanced technical support both to our salesand customers. Other requirements of this position will be conductingand overseeing in-house testing. The ideal candidate will have strongexperience in R&D, Tooling Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering orwhere the majority of time was using and deploying industrial cuttingtools, with particular emphasis on solid round tools. This position willalso require strong experience with CAD/CAM software. EducationalRequirement - Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering This position will bebased at our production facility, Berkshire Precision Tool inPittsfield, Massachusetts. EOE
