Responsible for performing receiving inspections on Tucson and customer components prior to coating application.
Perform examination of components in-process and after coating to customer and industry specifications.
Perform mechanical testing after coating as required.
Work closely with shop employees and fellow technicians to support production and quality team members.
Attention to detail and strong communication skills are required. Previous experience within a manufacturing environment is desired.
Prefer previous hands-on experience using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers and reading blueprints.
Ability to read and interpret procedures, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with all company, customer, and industry requirements. Basic assistance with NADCAP audit preparation as required. Communication with customers as required.
This position will physically require the incumbent to perform duties standing, walking, overhead reaching, lifting (35 – 40lbs), pushing and pulling totes, and leaning over machines, all equally on a regular basis.
Must be able to inspect components and accept/reject as required with the use of micrometers, calipers, and other measuring devices. Previous experience preferred but not required. Basic computer skills required.
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution preferred but not required
