LogistiQ is seeking an experienced, reliable, and motivated, Quality Technician to join our team. This person will be responsible for assisting with operational improvement projects as well as working on cross-functional teams to commercialize innovative products in the facility. Continuous improvement efforts will focus on making sustainable gains in OEE, safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Methods for achieving and sustaining improvements will be based on using quality methodologies and continuous improvement fundamentals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *include the following. Other duties may be assigned. *
Responsible for developing and implementing division-wide process improvements in operations and in the business processes that support operations.POC for driving built in quality, root cause analysis, and quality audits.Standardization and development of data collection and reporting to quantify plan performance in achieving production and other operating goals. Daily production, schedule compliance, PM compliance, downtimeProcess optimization in operations through evaluation of batch operations, SOPs, plant logistics, scheduling, and automation opportunities with implementation of improvements either through process changes and/or capital projects.Process optimization in processes that support operations - New Product Introductions, Batch Sheet Coordination, Standard Operating Procedures, Management of Change.Work with operations and maintenance teams to drive continuous improvements in plant operations. Support change and foster cooperation. Develop procedural and process improvements to reduce cost and improve efficiencies.

Six Sigma or Lean background with examples of application and results preferred (preferable skill set at the level of a Green or Black Belt)5-7+ years of prior manufacturing quality / process engineering / continuous improvement experience requiredAbility to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholdersWillingness to engage in impromptu and structured problem-solving sessionsBeing a collaborative and principled team playerExhibits positive leadership at a role model levelAbility to operate with a strategic focus
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent requiredBachelor's degree preferred: Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must have basic reading and writing skills in the English language
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)```{=html}
