  WE ARE LOOKING FOR A QUALITY SPECIALIST NPI (NEW PRODUCT INNOVATIONS)

  SENIORITY LEVEL: Experienced Non-Management Level

  FUNCTION: RJRT Operations – Quality Control

  LOCATION: ROC - Winston-Salem, NC

  WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  NPI / Product Changes

  Ensure consistent approach to quality and qualifications during New Product Introduction (NPI) across areas

  Maintain communication with stakeholders throughout process to ensure alignment with planned execution of NPI process

  Change Control Process

  New Product | Technologies| Materials | Equipment

  Process | Manufacturing | System

  Regulatory Compliance

  FDA | TPMP

  Complete required FDA regulatory training

  Support implementation of programs to ensure compliance with Company EHS polices, Company Safety Rules and regulatory requirements.

  Complete EHS-required training.

  Immediately report all injuries and illnesses and participate in investigations and development of corrective actions.

  Participate in EHS programs as required by assigned site/role (e.g., PULSAR safety observation program, Safety Triggers).

  ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  High School Diploma or equivalent and 6+ years of relevant work experience, or Associates with 4+ years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field and 2+ years relevant work experience (Manufacturing or QA Experience)

  Comprehensive knowledge of tobacco products, tobacco technology, and quality

  Good understanding of consumer-centric quality management principles, design of new processes and standards management, and supply chain models

  Excellent analytical problem solving and decision making skills

  Ability to self-direct, be pro-active and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization

  Excellent organizational and project management skills

  Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Word) and other computer programs

  Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

  Company vehicle for eligible employees

  Mobile phone allowance for eligible employees

  401(k) plan that offers opportunity to save on pre- and post-tax basis up to 50 percent of eligible compensation.

  Company matches 100 percent of employee pre-tax/Roth (401k) contributions up to six percent
